Client Service Agreement & Liability Waiver
This Client Service Agreement and Liability Waiver (“Agreement”) applies to all customers (“Client”) who purchase services from Paws & Pickups.
1. Services Provided
Paws & Pickups agrees to provide pet waste removal services (“Services”) at the Client’s property. Services may include:
Routine pet waste pickup (weekly, twice-weekly, or bi-weekly)
One-time or seasonal cleanings (for events, spring cleaning, or move-in/move-out)
Bagging and disposal of waste in eco-friendly bags, following local regulations
Optional deodorizer treatments
2. Scheduling & Access
No need to be home: Services are performed even if the Client is away, provided there is access to the yard.
Weather policy: Services continue in light rain. Severe weather may delay service up to 24 hours.
Access: Client must ensure gates are unlocked or provide instructions for entry.
Pets present: Services can continue if dogs are friendly. Aggressive or fearful pets must be brought inside.
3. Initial & Ongoing Service
A one-time “first scoop” fee applies if the yard has significant waste accumulation.
After the initial cleanup, Client will be placed on their selected subscription plan.
4. Payment & Billing
Subscription services are billed monthly, in advance.
One-time cleanings are billed at the time of service.
Failed or late payments may result in suspension of services.
5. Client Responsibilities
Maintain safe access to the yard (clear of hazards, debris, aggressive pets, etc.).
Notify Paws & Pickups of any changes to pets, property conditions, or service needs.
6. Safety & Sanitation
Tools are sanitized between visits.
Eco-friendly deodorizer treatments are available upon request to reduce bacteria and odor.
Services are performed with reasonable care to provide a safe environment for pets and families.
7. Waiver of Liability
By signing this Agreement, Client acknowledges and agrees:
Animal waste is inherently hazardous; Paws & Pickups cannot guarantee the complete elimination of bacteria, parasites, or odor.
Paws & Pickups is not responsible for damage to lawns, landscaping, or property during the normal course of service.
Paws & Pickups is not liable for injuries, illnesses, or losses related to animal waste, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Client releases and waives all claims against Paws & Pickups, its owners, employees, and contractors.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate with 14 days’ written notice.
No refunds for unused portions of prepaid services unless required by law.
9. Service Area
Paws & Pickups currently serves Cleveland, TN and surrounding neighborhoods. Service availability may vary by location.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee.
Agreement Acknowledgment
By booking or submitting payment through Paws & Pickups, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Client Service Agreement and Liability Waiver.
By checking the box or proceeding with payment, the Client provides their electronic signature and consents to all terms contained herein. This digital acceptance is legally binding in accordance with the Tennessee Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (T.C.A. § 47-10-101 et seq.).
